I am a wife and mother first and foremost.  My husband and I have been married for 8 years and I have an almost 6 year old little girl who is “my shooting star” (a little something between she and I).
  Secondly to my family comes my art.  I am a glass beadmaker and sculptor.  I melt rods of glass in a flame over a torch and create whatever wants to come out that day.  Much of what I produce has to do with my mood at the time I'm torching.  My glasswork is the perfect emotional outlet for me because when I am creating, I think of nothing else but the control of the glass, the flow of the glass and my mind, and accomplishing a finished piece that's hopfefully close to what I had pictured in my mind.
I look forward to going back to school soon.  Art will be a part of my curriculum, but I have great interests in other things as well.  Helping others to heal their emotional wounds is something I would love to do as I have endured much hurt throuought my life and I think that would help me heal as well.
I have lately taken a great interest in Zen and meditation.  I am not a religious person, but greatly seek spirituality in my life.  I don't believe the two are related and spirituality can be found outside of churches and synagouges. 
All I truly seek is peace within myself and peace with my past and to find what I seek will allow me to move on and make the most of the short time we all have here on this earth.
